High school seniors eligible for $1,000 scholarships
Who can apply?
High school seniors who live in a household served by Alliance Communications can apply for $1,000 scholarships. Alliance Communications will award $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from each of the following school districts that Alliance serves: Alcester-Hudson, Baltic, Brandon Valley, Garretson, Hills-Beaver Creek, Howard, Oldham-Ramona, Tri-Valley and West Lyon.*
Students who attend a school not listed above, such as those open enrolling or attending a private school, are still eligible to apply for the school district respective to their service area. Up to two additional $1,000 scholarships also will be awarded to students pursuing a degree in the telecommunications field.
The applicantās household must be current Alliance Communications Cooperative customers, and he or she must plan to be a full-time student in the fall.
How are applicants judged?
Applicants are judged on leadership in school, civic and other extracurricular activities, academic achievement, character, and the motivation to serve and succeed.

*Students from the Beaver Creek, Hardwick, Jasper, Kanaranzi, Luverne and Magnolia communities are not eligible to apply at this time.
